In modern stone fabrication facilities, CNC 5-axis bridge saws and conventional bridge cutters are the backbone of production. Cutting 2cm and 3cm slabs of hard granite, ultra-dense quartzite, and resin-bound engineered quartz requires rigorous adherence to blade operational parameters.
Using improper bridge saw blades causes edge blowouts, curved miter joints, excessive spindle load, and premature blade failure.

Preventing Miter Flaring & Edge Chipping
When executing 45-degree miter drop edges for modern waterfall island designs, the side pressure against the blade core increases dramatically. If the blade body flexes even 0.010", the resulting miter seam will be wavy and require extensive hand grinding.
